Earlier I reported that Immokalee is an inland agricultural area and a big producer of tomatoes.
Immokalee has an active farmers market every day.
This man was selling tomatoes.
He saw the camera, sat up straight and posed. How easy was that?

Looks like a good crop.
I love a guy whose happy to have his photo taken! Amazing how the tomatoes are all the same size so pack together so evenly.
I like this shot. Whenever I see people selling colorful vegetables and fruit along the roadside, I want to stop and take pics…but, haven't gotten motivated enough. Yet. I love that this guy was quick to strike a pose -- and you were just as quick with your shutter.
Those tomatoes disturb me: all the same , perfectly round, equal size..are they real?!
Love it! Beautiful shot Jack.
And, he has a very friendly smile! Did you buy any of those good looking tomatoes? I have a really hard time finding a tomato that tastes like the tomatoes I loved so much growing up in Illinois.
Too easy Jack :) but then again you always make portrait shots look easy.. I see the makings of much tomato soup here :)
I do love tomatoes and what a terrific shot!! Isn't it great when people are so cooperative!! Looks as though he was enjoying the moment as well!! Have a great day, Jack!!
Bring him this photo and you'll get a box of tomatoes!
Them there tomatoes look brilliant as does the chap you photographed.
They look like factory tomatoes, Jack! Hope you tried some.
cute!
those tomatoes look huge! almost like apples!
Terrific pic, Jack. You really bring out his personality!
Love the hat! Those tomatoes look so good.
Nice looking tomatoes.
Jack I saw this on FB via William Kendall. What a fine environmental portrait this is. Bravo my friend.

Great shot! A more dedicated person than I would see this and have tomato canning in their future. The best I can manage is thinking about BLTs and lots of salad.
A snap, as they say.
We had some very good local tomatoes at dinner tonight but they had to have been grown in a hothouse. We are a little warmer than CT but far cooler than FL.
Great tomatoes, nice portrait!
oh he looks very proud! great shot!
If I say 'what huge tomatoes' it manages to sound a little rude... Great portrait of the tomato man.
Great tomato portrait.
