Sleep Cheap

Sleep?  With a coral snake weaving through the wall boards?  There is NO way . . .

This is linked to Monday Mural.

This is part of the property of Everglades Wonder Gardens; an
unused building is now occupied by a mattress company.

lol I am glad you wrote an explanation!

I'm with you on this one. Visions of snakes do not make for a restful sleep.

You certainly started off my day with a gasp and a giggle, Jack!! Thanks!! Fun shot for the day! Hope you have a great week!!

Pretty snake. Just don't try to pet one. Or roll over on one in your sleep.

Not even for free :))

Scary, but picturesque...

"Red touches yellow kills a fellow," yeah, it is a coral snake, and not the similar scarlet king snake which is non-poisonous. Think I'll sleep more expensively, and more safely.

It couldn't be cheap enough for me with that snake there, Jack! You are lucky to be back down south in the warmth!!

Okay, I hate snakes but I'd still try it. In fact, I'm more afraid of the 'sleep cheap' than I am of the snakes...

Doesn't really sound like a good sales pitch! :)

Is it better (or worse) to sleep with a coral snake or the fishes?

Not even if I was homeless.

This is very realistic and just enough to give me a shudder.

My son lives in Texas where there are both coral and king snakes. Remembering the poem could be a life saver. And what I don't know is legion. The older I get the more I know, I don't know.

Hmmm, I'd think twice about that one. Such a fun composition.

I'd be scared out my wits.

This gives me the creeps!

If you sleep you don't see the coral snake...

I agree with you! Although I'm not afraid of snakes, I definitely don't think I would sleep better knowing one was in my walls.

Really?? Is that a real, living snake? (As in, did it move??)

This is such a convincing trompe l'oeil. Someone has amazing talent. The advertising campaign? Not so much. Thanks, Jack, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
