Tranquility

You knew I would show something from Elizabeth Park to illustrate "tranquility," didn't you?  Elizabeth Park has many different gardens. The time for roses and their riotous abundance of color is almost here, but the tranquility of the shade garden has much to recommend it.

I knew you were going to show Elizabeth Park. :) As far as I can tell, it's one of the best places in Hartford!
I love the idea of being memorialized with a bench. The sentiment on this plaque is really nice too.
Happy theme day!!

Being surrounded by nature is the best way to feel tranquil. Great memorial plaque, too.

I like this idea of benches as tributes. Your picture could be a painting, so beautiful!

Tranquility is the perfect title. Lovely place.

Nothing like a park bench to signify tranquility in my opinion. This is such a lovely shot - love the depth of field you've captured.

This is indeed tranquil, but now I have to rush off to work for an extremely un-tranquil day.

A perfect choice indeed. There is nothing like a seat in the shade on a fine clear day.

Though I've never been to Elizabeth Park I feel as though I know it from your lovely photos. It's perfect for the theme - and appropriate for Britain's Jubilee weekend too!

I wonder what my bench would read. Something odd I'm sure.

I love how you took that first photo. All one needs now is a pillow...
