Ichiro
Rachel and her daughter Amanda ate at the table next to my son and me. After they left, they stood outside talking so I could frame them in Ichiro's window. Amanda is a model in Manhattan, so posing was natural for her.
Sushi! Yum! I love the window photo. And, I like your new site template. I have been trying to figure out how to get my photos this large and can't for the life of me get to work.
Great stuff! I love the perspective of the plates of food. And, I love asking them to go outside and help with the shot you envision. I do the same to my family all the time. They just roll their eyes and say, "Dad is being a photo nerd again..."
Love the shot framed through the window, especially with the green bottle in the foreground. As for the meal...sushi used to be one of my absolute favorite foods. Then, I suddenly developed a horrible allergy to soy sauce (and other foods), so I avoid it. Sad indeed!
I always love your composition and these two shots are a perfect example of why I love it!! Marvelous! I get the "Mom is being a photo nerd again" sometimes, but less these days since they've all gotten hooked on photography, too! Hope you week is off to a great start, Jack! Enjoy!
Amanda looks yummy ... not so much the sushi! Nice photos, Jack!
The knee is coming very well. Lots of bike riding has helped stretch out those tendons. Played 18 holes twice. Not well. Not even close to well. But stayed with it. And the knee seems no worse for wear. Yeah!
Love Japanese food Jack, this looks delish and how nice to share it with your son, I love going out with Aimee. Your upcoming trip sounds fabulous, will it be cruising the canals? River cruising is fun, it's just the big wide open ocean that scares me, if I can see a bank on either side that I could swim for, no problems!! I should imagine this would be an opportunity for many great photos Jack, looking forward to seeing them.
Looks like some yummy Japanese food! Itadaki masu! A wonderful photo of those women framed in the window - must have been taken by a very clever, talented photographer, non?!

delightful meal and a great 'view'...can't really miss.
I think the presentations in fine restaurants such as this is one part of the pleasurable meal.
It made me hungry, but we don't have such a beautiful restaurant here:(
The second photo is terrific!
Looks like a wonderful dinner!

I am hungry looking at the first shot! I like your new colors, the orange fit with fall now you are moving on to winter, a mild winter:)
Cool photos, Jack.

Great shots and what a lunch!
Works of art - the food and your photos.
Really nice photo through the window. Wow! Now you photograph New York City models?
Your photography always has such a warm appeal, thanks for sharing.
The food looks good. But what I really love is the framed window shot. Excellent work!

Have a great Thanksgiving!
Sushi! Looks wonderful. Love that shot out the window with the chairs and windows.

Not a fan of Sushi but I love that second shot.
I like the window shot. It's a classic.
I agree with Randy about Sushi and the second shot!
Cool shots! My favourite is the second one:o)
