Although your photo features the angles and ornamentation of this Victorian, I think it is worth noting that this color would likely be found only on a Victorian house.

Pink seems not to have lasted as a house color. Similar to the period in the 1950's when pink was popular color for kitchen appliances, cabinets, and counter tops. I don't think any builders have built a pink kitchen in a new house or apartment in 50 years.

Doh - been looking for the angels! I must need new reading glasses... At first I thought it was a Chinese pagoda too. Ah well, I'm off to bed!

Hey Jack, I saw your comment about the hits from countries on the rolling log on my site. When I first started doing this I kept track of those all of the time and checked to see what brought those people to my site. I haven't done that for quite a while now. I do know that some of those single and double hits are actually from Julie and Dave (Scottsdale & Tamarindo Daily photos). When they are off to exotic places they log on whenever they can and if they come to my site I get another hit. I know that's how I got Tanzania and Fiji.

Interesting perspective. I like it.

How unexpected! Very interesting. I doubt I would have seen this through my lens. Btw, no raise from SDP...instead, a well earned respite.

Did you change your blog format? Or maybe it just looks different b/c I can only get on the web with iPhone.

I definitely like this shot. Itcombines two of my favorite things: angles and details!
