Love this. She has a great smile.

She looks as happy as the lady the other day who served sandwiches. Maybe other communities should see why people in Hartford seem to be so happy, or maybe it is the experience of encountering you with a camera that makes people happy.

Nice colors in this capture. She looks like she's enjoying herself. Now.....were you learning how to quilt in preparation for the upcoming winter???

I have a soft spot for quilting and Ed Johnetta's website is a tribute to her talent. Makes me want to meet her ! Another of your great portraits Jack, I wish I could learn to do the same. Why does it seem easy when others do it? I freeze when I think of photographing the people I meet!

Have a nice and happy week****

ps: the 'villa Bergeret" was built between 1903 and 1905 and the stained glass was ordered to Jacques Grüber by the owner of the house, Albert Bergeret who was a printer;o)

Did you attend for the fabrics or the quilting?

'Tis a nice shot of a woman who looks to be filled with the joy of life...

Re your comment on Ocala: I don't think any mothers looked like that back in our childhood days! :-)

Very nice portrait. She looks like she would be an exuberant teacher.

Thanks for the tip on the Mccullough book. I will have to look it up at my friendly neighborhood library.

The Saint-Gaudens NPS site in NH is worth the trip. Might only be about an hour or so for you.
