Weekend Reflections: Riverfront Skyline

From the left, you see the Connecticut Convention Center, the Marriott hotel, the Connecticut Science Center, the Travelers tower and the "boat building".  On the riverfront, the white tent hosts summer concerts.

The sciences center has a very interesting architecture! The picture is impressive, maybe because of the bridge perspective..And great reflections caught in that very urban place.

What fun to see this after being in the heart of it yesterday. No storms in sight in this beautiful image.

Fabulous reflections and the bridge is beautiful as well! To know more about Science inside a boat is a great idea! :)
Happy weekend

I may be exposing the limits of my geographic consciousness, but i have never thought of Hartford as a river town. With the exception of the Charles riverfront in Boston, New England does not seem big enough to have rivers with a national reputation. There have to be lots of smaller rivers where all those mills were located to power the industrial revolution, and of course there are rivers under those quaint covered bridges.

I like the graphic effect those pile of bridge show on the water... You chose a nice point of view to get those city reflections, well done !

Great view of the area with reflections in still waters... I know that Marriott well and too bad that I did not know you yet the times I was there!

Don't forget to mention the bridge. Looks positively European from this angle.

Nice refection. And, it looks like a nice riverfront (or at least from this perspective).
