A group of kids from Booth Free School in Roxbury, Connecticut, visited the State Capitol on Thursday while I was there. These shots are taken in the Senate chambers. Roxbury is a very small town in western Connecticut. I was impressed at how well behaved and attentive the kids were.

Then there is hope!
Love the rainbow t-shirts
It must be an impreesive place for them.. Great idea to give them the same colorful t-shirts! A good way not to lose anyone!
Colour and youth. Optimism...
Those well-behaved youngsters are a tribute to their teachers who obviously well-prepared and trained them for this field trip. The stained glass windows caught my eye! Is that carpeting on the floor of the chambers...classy!
Their colorful tie-dye t-shirts stand out in the formal chamber.
Great shirts. Can't lose one with those on. Nice shots.
Nice shot inside the Senate chambers! Was it tie-dye day at the capitol?
Great building, nice to see it open to the kids!
What a good day for the school kids. Lot's to see and learn!
Those t-shirts are giving me flashbacks!
The old Packard had a parking permit in the window so it must be someone's summer ride.
Let's hope that somehow the future for these students approaches the brightness of their T-shirts.
LOL! I love Birdman's comment!
Sounds like they wanted to be there. :)
