Jack, this one is perfect. It looks like a painting to me. Everything about it is terrific: subject, lighting, composition. Kudos!!!

We used to churn butter on my grandma's farm in northern Minnesota when I was a kid. Great fun and soooo good!

This young lady's hat looks similar to what some chefs were today...

She looks a bit Flemish to me. Wonderful!

Another great photo. But I'm wondering just what are her hands working with, what are they in? Tomorrow's photo, perhaps?

Excellent portrait. They could use this in their brochure!

I agree with Halcyon, a terrific portrait and it would indeed be great in their brochure. Love her smile! Enjoy your day, Jack!

This is a great shot. Looks straight out of a period piece movie or something.

Perfect portrait. I would skip the butter, but enjoy the cheese.

Looks delicious the food when you cook using butter. oh gosh...it's remind me the doctor said I MUST forget all butter, because my cholesterol is in orbit! I mean, very high! LOL

Jack, I think that this is your best portrait yet! The potter was until today. You have really dialed it up a notch, mon ami!

This is one era that I am living today. I love all the modern conveniences we have.

She's looking like the Vermeer's girl! Did you taste the butter and cheese made here? I like the way the lady is dressed!

I agree with previous comments about Vermeer. First thing I thought of when I saw this. Except Vermeer's models usually had more enigmatic expressions. Your girl looks like she's enjoying what she's doing.

Love the composition...especially with the window and sunlight streaming in. Well done, Jack.

Jack, both this portrait and the previous one (the potter) are outstanding. The light is perfect, a real Vermeer !
