These boats are on the Connecticut River in the beautiful town of Essex, half an hour or so south of Hartford. This photo was taken three weeks ago on a cold and cloudy day. By now the boats will probably be in dry dock.

I'm glad they were out when you were there with your camera. They make a beautiful photo.
Gorgeous photo. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Fantastic reflections! I do hope to make it to New England one of these days. But it will have to be in the spring or summer. I'm not big on the cold. :)
You captured some gorgeous reflections in this photo, Jack!
Around water there are always reflections. Great capture!
This harbour looks so peaceful... It is such a lovely shot : thank you so much for sharing it with us ; it is a place that deserve to be known.
I always love the reflections on the water and boats and you have both and they're terrific! Hope you have a great weekend, Jack!

Almost a monochrome shot - just a hint of red and blue. It's lovely - very well composed.
An excellent reflection, I like the shadowless light of a cloudy sky.
Look at that wonderfully calm water - perfect to reflect the boats ... even on a gray day!
The gray skies did not even interfere with the beautiful boat reflection.
What a lovely day!
This makes a great reflection photo! Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful photo. Have a great weekend!
Wish I lived in a town called Essex... such a wonderful name. Always have loved the sound of saying it... ah, Essex.
This reflection shot is a beauty.
So perfect, I like the white and grey effect.
I love the soft pearl-grey quality of this picture. It looks very peaceful.
Love the monocrome tones in this photo and the perfectly calm harbor reflections. Just superbe!
Very tranquil scene!
