Hartford muralist Corey Pane painted this mural two years ago on a blank wall behind Hartford's main sports venue, now called the Peoples Bank Arena.
When I lived in West Hartford I shared tickets to the Hartford Whalers games. The Whalers left Hartford and moved to Carolina after the 1997 season. Even though they have been gone nearly three decades, their jerseys are still very popular.
