Saint Chapelle

Saint Chapelle is a royal chapel within the medieval Palais de la Cite, the residence of the kings of France until the 14th century.

The chapel is a short distance west of Notre Dame on the Ole de la Cite on the River Seine.  Construction began in 1238.  The blue stained glass is nearly overwhelming.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I did not know about this chapel. Those stained glass windows are amazing.
