Yesterday was a beautiful day for Ridgefield's Memorial Day Parade. Today: the formal part of the parade. Tomorrow: some of the special features. And Thursday: people.
Police and fire departments had a big presence. The chief of police rode in a classic police car.
The sirens were so loud I covered my ears.

I would have gone to a parade if there was one here, but instead spent a day with family. There were some fine looking units in the Ridgefield parade.
Memorial Days are important, to be humble and attentive
