I was just about to drive past when I spotted a "Corn" sign, so I pulled in fast.
Got just a couple of ears. They were delicious.
No one was in the building, just an honor payment system. I will bet that it is rare for anyone to skip out without leaving the money.

Oh yes, it is sweet corn season. I recently visited Iowa friends who served the best sweet corn I have ever had. It was amazingly good. I'll bet you are right about people paying on the honor system. Their prices are about one dollar more than around here.
