Back in Connecticut for a few days for a very important seventh birthday.
While here, I took advantage of wonderful light to wander a bit. This is the red brick Beaux Arts main building of the Ridgefield Library, which is from 1903. Bigger and more recent buildings stretch out behind the main building.

Public libraries are the jewels of our culture. This library has a long and honored history.
