Wandering - I

 I live in a golf community that is an Audubon Certified Sanctuary.  Most days I get in my golf cart and wander the community looking for wildlife for an hour or so.  Here are some results from a recent day.

A brown pelican flew past the boardwalk.


A spotted sandpiper visited the end of the boardwalk.


Some red-breasted mergansers swum past the boardwalk.  I had never seen them here before.


Little blue herons are common here.  This one likes the boardwalk but I see most LBHs elsewhere.

Wow, what wonderful bird photos. You are lucky to have all these spices to see. This Saturday is the Christmas bird count. Are you going to participate?
