Our flock of Turkey Vultures left here. Perhaps they are now visiting you and enjoying your warm thermals? Just tell them you are feeling fine. I find that usually works.
I'm in Tidewater Virginia, and for 20+ years, turkey vultures have been nearly daily visitors. When we first moved here, it was said that turkey vultures were threatened, but I have seen 8 at a time many times. From the ground, they are wondrously beautiful, soaring the same way that the eagles do. I have collected quite a lot of feathers they dropped when fighting over carrion.

They're waiting on the fellow down the street who expired two days ago, and are trying to figure out how to open doors.
