St. Stephen's Episcopal Church

I usually position myself to minimize visual clutter like utility poles, traffic lights, signs and wires.

But, standing on the corner and waiting for the light to change so I could cross, this scene seemed to illustrate the complexity and confusion of modern life.

I like the look of this church.

The church was built during simpler times. Power poles and wires do clutter our streets, but there are now fewer wires than there used to be. I like the contrasts in your photo.

That is a lot of wires, Jack.

I like this church, I wish our world didn't have so many power lines, they are going underground here.

From what I see on blogs there's a lot more visual clutter on your streets than ours; most of our power lines are underground in built-up areas. That's a gorgeous church though, whatever modern life may throw at it.
