A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
This one is just off the main street in Ridgefield, Connecticut.

I've heard serpentine walls are very strong.
There must be structural advantages to serpentine brick walls, and they also look great.
I like it, Jack.
And the brick walls really suit the lovely house too, it has a very nice garden.
I don't recall seeing anything like that here.
Interesting. I think it gives them strength so they can be constructed from just one course of bricks. Looks nice too.
