The Great Jack O'Lantern Pumpkin Blaze

I went to an amazing exhibition of pumpkins last week at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.  So many pumpkins!  Such creativity!  Such fun!  I'll start today with single pumpkin heads, carved much better than I carve pumpkin heads.

And a couple of complex figures carved from multiple pumpkins.

And the field of pumpkin heads that greets visitors as they enter the park.

Wow, look what artists can do when they get their hands of a few hundred pumpkins. Impressive.

What an amazing thing to see. Those pumpkins are carved beautifully but I was really impressed with that pumpkin blaze in the first photo. What a clever idea. I love it.

So different from the ones we did when I was a kid.

All of those are really impressive, it's a pity we don't get into it here.
