Ibis(es)


Ibises are social birds, moving as a flock.  (Or, more correctly, as a "congregation," a "colony," a "stand" or a "wedge" of ibises.)


This juvenile hung out by himself.  Ibises start life gray like this one and turn white as they mature.

Fine Ibise photos. You caught them in action. I did not know what a group of Ibise was called before.

That's a great capture of the "wedge of ibises" Glad they are (in the plural) called Ibi. Very cool photos.
