A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
I hope he/she survives and thrives. They sure are fun to see (or at least their burrows) in the wild.
It is good that there is a preserve for them!
I used to see them all the time, but not so much anymore. My grandfather would have grabbed this one up and made gopher stew out of it!
Quite a face.
I hope they can fix that issue.
