Sandsculpting at Fort Myers Beach II

The builders don't use any concrete or other additives.

While they work, the builders keep spraying their work lightly with water.

The sand at Fort Myers Beach is particularly good for sand sculptures.
Something about the grittiness of the sand particles helps with building high.

Fantasy castles were popular.

What a great assortment of themes. The sculptures I've seen here all had to be done with imported sand. Your sand may be right in its grittiness but it's also a striking white. The second sculpture - Einstein's quote - is chilling.
