Mailboxes

Manatees (or "sea cows") are popular in southwest Florida.  This one is in Matlacha.

Someone is ready for Christmas in Olde Naples.

A pelican caught a fish in Port Royal.

And, a fisherman, dolphin and mermaid await the mail in Fort Myers Beach.

Some really funny mail boxes here. I don't think we have too many weird looking ones in my area.

Oh that's funny Jack! The mermaid has one of those 'and what are you looking at' expressions 😀

That sure doesn't look like Hartford, Jack! ;-)) They make our mailboxes look so boring.

Those are very creative. I wonder if the people that have them are creative too.

You got me laughing and at the sametime I am admiring the imagination and skills that went into creating these mailboxes.

I actually quite like all these. Good to raise a smile with the ordinary things of life.

Terrific mailbox series. Around here mailboxes are not so interesting. Our Post Office insists of standard break-a-way posts, but we do have the occasional John Deere or bass mailbox on them.

If a manatee of a pelican delivered my mail I'd wonder what was coming through the ventilation system.
