A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida (Naples) and southwest Connecticut (Ridgefield) and New England and other places he goes.
Not really up on North American birds but I think some of those gulls are Skimmers and there are some small waders in there too. So the convention has many representatives present. There are some really odd specimens in the background too, sheltering under sunshades.
That's an awesome shot. Love the blue beach umbrellas.MersadMersad Donko Photography
Nice touch with the pirate flag.
Jack are you gullible enough to trade me places for the rest of the winter? :)
Elenka's cousin had 91 degrees in California yesterday. Enjoy the frolicking gulls.
What a great shot Jack!
It looks like they had a good turn out!
I'll say :) Fab shot Jack, hope you had a super Thanksgiving celebration.
Ah, fun in the sun for humans and gulls!! And what a great shot-- as always! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Jack, and that the fun continues!!
I can just imagine the chatter going on there!
WOW! What a wonderful collection of gulls and reflections. Have a lovely weekend.
I think I'd like to be one of the species under the umbrellas!!
Amazing photo, did you already count the gulls?
I love this shot, Jack!
It was a bird spa.
I spy sunshine AND a pirate flag. Looks like heaven to me with bird companions!
What a relaxing and peaceful place...Awesome photo...
Well trained too. They're all facing the same direction. Reminds me of the flamingos at some park in Miami!V
Two crowds in opposition : sea of birds vs ocean of humans... Nice catch on this summer detail.
I'd like a little of that warmth… it is sunny here but very cold!
Amazing that they don't mind the people being so close. Also amazing that there are no little kids running through and making them all flap!
