A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
North America is made up of many cultures. Let`s be thank thankful we are not like other parts of the world (as your photos demonstrate) and not killing each other off because of those differences.
What a wonderful parade, lots of colors, smiles, beautiful people and open mind to different culture!Love this post!Léia
Great mix of people.

There was a time that NYC was our only melting pot. Now it's all over, in every corner. It makes us even better.
Nice diverse group.
This is a colorful celebration of diversity.
Melting pots are a wonderful thing! Super vibrant shots Jack.
That really is a diverse group of students.

It's pleasant to see so much different people living together in harmony! I wish it would be the same all over the world..
Very beautiful and vivid pictures of this nice parade with so many different colors.
My goodness, what a wonderful array of people, cultures and colors! Looks like they are all having a good time, too!Probably a bit different from where you spend your winters, right?

Quite an eclectic lot!
What a fantastic event - all different corners of the world converging in yours. (Yes, the Barnes collection is amazing - worth a peek next time you're in Philly!)
I agree with Andy. Great shots! Some beautiful clothing, so different from the everyday Levis and tee shirts.
Everyone loves a parade! I didn't realize West Hartford is so culturally diverse. It appears to be quite a bit like the Greater Toronto Area. I'm impressed.
This almost looks like the parade at the Olympics! :-)
