Blue and squiggly. I visited the Ringling Museum yesterday specifically to check out the Herb Ritts photography exhibit (awesome) which is here on loan. I even puttered through the contemporary art gallery, which had some interesting exhibits, although nothing quite like your Sol Lewitt.
Here's the puzzle about Lewitt: would you stop and spend some time with this if it were on an airport wall? Would you have lost something if you didn't?
Bob, good question. I stop and spend time with it every time I see it, and I love it. But, of course, I know that many others don't. It is the artistic answer to why there are blondes and brunettes, tall and short, skinny and pudgy. Even if tall skinny blondes draw more looks than some others, there is something for everyone.

I wonder how it feels to be enveloped in all that color?
Very blue indeed!
God bless you!

Love the lines and the angle you chose for this shot,.
I like that there is a chair in this room so you can sit and contemplate this work.
I'm blue enough with this long winter. Please don't add an other minute to it. Grin!
Tricky to fall asleep on that bench.
What a different and interesting study! Great shot, Jack! It really draws you into the room! Have a great week!
Wonderful photo, Jack, this is (photo)Art!
You got me singin' the blues! Yikes!
He had such a wonderful graphic sense! I'm enjoying this series a lot Jack.
My favorite Lewitt so far. Which leads me to wonder: did he envision the blue under fluorescent lights?
It's almost like being surrounded by blue at sea. Interesting to see it inside a gallery.
Wow. How cool is that?! I would love to sit on that bench and soak it all in.

I think I read somewhere that blue makes one dream better. I wonder if she is daydreaming better amidst this work?
I like the bench, but only that!
I do like that shade of blue...
