Blue and squiggly. I visited the Ringling Museum yesterday specifically to check out the Herb Ritts photography exhibit (awesome) which is here on loan. I even puttered through the contemporary art gallery, which had some interesting exhibits, although nothing quite like your Sol Lewitt.
Here's the puzzle about Lewitt: would you stop and spend some time with this if it were on an airport wall? Would you have lost something if you didn't?
Bob, good question. I stop and spend time with it every time I see it, and I love it. But, of course, I know that many others don't. It is the artistic answer to why there are blondes and brunettes, tall and short, skinny and pudgy. Even if tall skinny blondes draw more looks than some others, there is something for everyone.
I wonder how it feels to be enveloped in all that color?
