Another Bloomfield Farmhouse
This farmhouse in northern Bloomfield has a typical New England form, although the stone surface is quite unusual for central Connecticut. It is a pretty nice example. The sign on the side reads "Zelah Case 1835." The photo is from November 2012.
Gosh, now this is what I call a decent farmhouse Jack! This one looks like it'll be around for quite a while. Love the white shutters, bet it's gorgeous inside.
Beautiful farmhouse and I love the unusual stone surface with the white shutters! Great shot for the day as always, Jack! Hope you're ready for a great weekend!
Love that stone but it doesn't look like a farmhouse to me. Of course I grew up partly in Minnesota where real farmhouses were white or red and made of wood!

A very smart house for a farmer
That house was built to stay!
The stonework is amazing. I'd love to see it up close and be able to move my hands over the stones. Beautiful!
The stone wall is beautiful and I like the white for the windows and doorway!

Wow! The stone work is beautiful.
The stone facade is fantastic! Looks like a big mosaic. :)
Magnificent. Stone houses have always felt regal and a bit mysterious to me.
Have a wonderful day Jack!

Someone has been taking good care of this one!
What a farmhouse! I love that stonework - I wonder where the stones came from? It really takes me back to New England, lovely capture.
Love the variegate stones!
The stones are magnificent. It reminds me a bit of Québec. Such a beautiful house!
I would move in there tomorrow, given half a chance. The symmetry v the crazy stones is most beguiling.

Fine photo of an appealing stone house. Looks quite solid.
