Daniel Wadsworth

I will show occasional photos of Hartford's major art museum, the Wadsworth Atheneum, in the coming weeks and months.  The Wadsworth is the oldest public art museum in the United States.  It is on the site of the home of Daniel Wadsworth, whose bust is shown above.  I liked the bright light streaming in behind Daniel and the floating bust reflected in the glass doors.

It makes for a very interesting shot. Daniel appears to be quite handsome.

Lucky you to have a "major" art museum - our little down doesn't even have a "minor" one, so keep showing us!

Great reflection. Ol' Daniel's got a smirk on his face, though. I wonder what that's all about?

... And I also like the colour of the walls.

Great composition!
Very nice and neat reflection of the bust! It almost looks like it is floating in the air!
Thanks for sharing Jack.

Great capture of the second sculpture beyond the doors which appears as a ghost-like image.

Very nice, Jack.
