Last year I played for a couple of days with how to crop a photograph of a painter working on an intricate paint job for a Glastonbury Victorian house.
A couple of weeks ago I was driving on Main Street in Glastonbury and saw the finished paint job. Doesn't the house look great now?

It does but that fox head, or whatever it is, on the sign in front has a bit if a creepy feeling.
I remember that post and wouldn't have guessed it was the same house. Such a beautiful old house. I wonder how long it took for the painter to complete the project.
San Francisco, where I (mostly) grew up, has some beautiful "painted ladies" like this -- and yet, they have some subtle differences. I wish I knew more about these beautiful Victorians to identify what it is.
I wouldn't crop it like this, but I like the house itself.
The two tone paint job is well-coordinated, and the hanging flag make a patriotic statement.
