Golden Lamb Buttery

The Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn, Connecticut, is one of the finest restaurants in Connecticut.  It is in a beautiful farm setting, down a long road, off the beaten path.

It has been a long time since I have had a meal there.  This needs to be rectified . . .

You sound like a man with a mission! You will have to report back when you make it back here. It certainly has a most appealing setting.

I would say so! If the food is as good as the location -

That is definitely a bucolic setting. And if the food is good ... they will come!

Without familiarity with the menu, the setting alone would make me want to try this place.

What a beautiful spot. If I ever make it to the area I will have to stop in and try the food. Have a great weekend.

Looks very nice, but perhaps a bit pricey? It almost looks like some farming is still going on there.

Looks lovely. We have a restaurant with a similar name in nearby Lebanon, Ohio.

I've always heard good things about Golden Lamb. Brooklyn is also home to a great little specialty nursery called Quackin' Grass that I visit from time to time.

Brooklyn, Connecticut looks a lot different than Brooklyn, New York.

Can you buy butter direct from them? It looks idyllic. I'd love to have a meal there too!

Such an attractive setting Jack, and I love the 'buttery' part, not so much the lamb....being almost vegetarian!

I do not know the place, but trust your judgement!
