The Governor just announced a new logo for Connecticut, which will be launched with a $27 million advertising campaign.
Here are some predecessor tourism slogans for Connecticut: "Better Yet Connecticut (1980); CLASSIConnecticut: Pride of New England (1987)
and Connecticut, We're Full of Surprises (1993).
Slogan making is not a core competence in this state. But, it is pretty here. You should come here any ways.

wow I don't understand much about this subject but I think it's lots of money! ;)
I also like that "We're full of surprises". ;)

That new "tag line" can have many meanings in today's world. Perhaps that is exactly the intention! ;)
I think in todays world a lot of states are considering a sign like this! Hope your week is going well, Jack!
I like the new slogan! And I loved Connecticut when I visited - beautiful!
Italians like slogans, paying handsomely for them is a thing we usually do... and we are practically broke!
Every town, province, country seems to be looking for the perfect one!
So, what's your next revolution? :-)
The name itself is great for slogans ... With the word connect in it. .... and situated between Boston and New York. Wow that's as good as it gets!
I'd love to come - slogan or not!
A place I intend to visit again, Connecticut is beautiful indeed.
All seem better than--- "Maine the way life should be".
Yes, I do agree, the slogans could be better. :) I'd love to come visit Connecticut. Any good golf courses you can recommend? ;)
Tho writes these slogans and what do they get paid? St. Louis' promo slogan is "The Center Of It All." I don't think the state uses one at the moment.
I can't believe that these phrases bring one more tourist to a state. It's just drivel.
Catchy campaign. A little pricey though.
As you know there are no states here, just different regions with very different characteristics (even in such a small country like Portugal), so it's really interesting to understand how things work over there.
Intriguing new state slogan. I think I like yours better!
It is intended to be taken multiple ways - history, culture, education, manufacturing: they all have made great advances through Connecticut efforts, so that's the point. take it anyway you like, it probably applies. The real question will be if the campaign is well executed to communicate of all those different meanings.
I always liked the old "Beat of Hartford' campaign.
I'm not convinced by the new slogan at all but love this state.
