Carousel 3

Carousel Museum, Bristol, Connecticut

I intended to take good notes about these carousel horses.  There is a road paved with best intentions . . .

Sorry, folks.  I am traveling and probably won't have time to look at your blogs until my return in May.  But, I will read every one of your comments, so please continue to visit.

I'm wondering if the museum explains how came the idea of carousels and horses on them..The one with roses is really beautiful!

Very pretty..terrific detail. I've had to crack down on the entire SDP staff regarding note taking. (The devil's in the details!) In anticipation of your big adventure, it probably slipped your mind that today is theme day - bakeries. Of course, you could always say the horses are galloping toward the baked goods.

There is a company near the San Francisco airport, Barrango, Inc., that makes carousels. Their showroom and factory are like a fairy land.
