We don't have police officers with horses here...
Though I see a lot of mounted police in Versailles, they weren't at the Christmas market, lol! Cool night shot!

Great shot Jack! I think that horse would attract attention no matter how hard he tried to hide.
We used to have mounted police in downtown Ocala - patrolling. The horses went away; to where I do not know.
Then the tried officers on bikes, and then on Segways. All gone now.
I think some cops drive around in cars. Must be safer that way. For the cops.

The mounted police are a HUGE draw in our city. I doubt if they could be unobtrusive if they tried. Such good coverage for events!!
Just plain cool. We lost our mounted patrol 'bout 5 years ago... $$$$$$$$$.
