Elizabeth Park at Tulip Time

The tulip garden at Elizabeth Park draws everyone out with their cameras on Sunday afternoon in early May.

This is the garden I showed in high summer and in the winter, taken from the same spot.  You will see this garden often as it changes throughout the year.

Mr. Brattcat and I visited this garden several years ago. It's lovely. There's an answer to your question about water back at my blog, Jack.

Nice colors, and I like the photo with the guy on his knees trying to get the perfect tulip shot!

A sure sign of spring in the Northeast.

Love the medley of photographers searching for the right position for the perfect shot. Almost makes me forget about the tulips...but not quite. Incidentally, I share your opinion about my blog today. Definitely NOT a win-win.

Wow! You must have a hard time deciding which season is best. I love rows of tulips like this. So pretty and colorful!!!

I was going to say, I thought I'd seen this photo or a similar one some time ago. I get a kick out of all the photogs...but it is a great photo opportunity!

Re your comment on Ocala: We have had some ET's in our area - mostly from the northeast, but what is an ETF?

Excellent! I've been looking forward to seeing your photos of this park in bloom for a while now. The winter photos were beautiful, but the flowers certainly aren't a let down!

That would be a great place to turn us all loose and then posting our work from that day. Like a field trip.

Oh, boy! What a great time for everyone! I just might get to go to a tulip farm this weekend--depends upon how much it is raining. I want to take lots of photos, but I know I won't get any like that man because if I were to get down on the ground like he has, I'd be stuck there! Great post, Jack. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date with these gardens.
