Out of the Jurisdiction: Market Day

It was market day in St. Remy-en-Provence.  The locals and tourists turned out in force.

Honey

Soaps

Hats

Nougat

And more nougat

Van Gogh posters and stuff.  After cutting off his ear, Vincent Van Gogh spent from May 1889 to May 1890 at Saint-Paul de Mausole psychiatric hospital in St. Remy-en-Provence,
where he painted some of his finest works.

Looks like a full inventory market. It would be tempting to buy more than you need! Reminds me that I need some more honey!

Obviously a good deal of nougat to be found!

I'm sure I would have found something I needed to take home.

I guess since you are hiking you wouldn't want to buy anything heavy! ;-)

I might have made a few purchases here....

Local honey would be nice, though not if you're hiking and have to carry it.

I love these markets in out of the way places, but the goods on offer don't vary all that much.

I think I need some nougat. And then maybe some more nougat.
