Out of the Jurisdiction: Costa Brava II

I was using a 24 - 105mm lens.  Sometimes I wanted a wider angle, so I pulled out my iPhone.
Here are four of the iPhone photos.  Sometimes I wonder why I even use my big camera.

At the start of the hike, the clouds had not yet burned off, giving this scene a bit of atmosphere.

A hiker went out on the point ahead of me and gave the scene some context.

The water is a limitless variety of blues and greens.

It's true that phone photos are extremely good these days. Sometimes I find the sky burns out too much and that's a bit hard to remedy but otherwise, I agree, I sometimes wonder why I haul my DSLR around.
Love the colour of the seas, just stunning.

I've just been all the way back to peruse your holiday photos Jack, they are as fabulous in their own way as were your wildlife shots from your Safari. Both landscape and detail images excellent ✨

Camera phones are so incredible these days. I use mine quite often. This scenery is gorgeous and I like the colors in the water.

I need a new iPhone. After seeing these pictures, I might just take the plunge.

Gorgeous scenes! Who needs a big camera when a phone can do this!

These are truly gorgeous shots. I have an acquaintance who has a newer iPhone and attached a zoom lens to it for a trip to Costa Rica. Those photos were also spectacular. (Surprisingly, though the vegetation is very different these cliffs and bluffs remind me of parts of the Washington coast and the Pacific Northwest.)

You can't blow up an iphone photo. I only use my phone to surf and text and talk, never use the camera.
