A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
I am all for art museums and the performing arts, under whatever name that works.
What did M Baker do to earn recognition worthy of the museum being named after him Jack?
I love that entrance. Would like to see a close-up of it if you have it.
I don't remember this place but then I've not been in Naples for several years. But we'll visit the museum on our next trip, when and if that occurs. :)
It would be interesting to take a peek inside.
great looking from outside!
You already showed us something of this sculptor: she is good. I am wondering about what lies inside the museum...
Great shot as always and it would be interesting to take a peek inside. You do have me curious about the name change??? Hope your week is going well, Jack!!
I'd love to see a close-up of the gate too, Jack. I like Beaumont's work when you showed it before.
The gates look really interesting so I followed your link to Mr Paley's website - difficult to decide if he's a great artist or mad as a box of frogs. Possibly both!
I like Mr Paley's gates, both here and on his site. I'm less convinced by some of the smaller pieces.
A beautiful and enticing entrance, Jack, and that's quite a dominant statue.
Love the gates (pearly?). Don't know what I think about the statue. What was the former name?
I like the sculpture but I'm iffy on the doors. BTW, is there a charge for this museum? You'll know why I ask tomorrow on Theme Day.V
