Glenna

The dahlias are the only flowers still in vigorous bloom in Elizabeth Park.

For her 90th birthday, Glenna's family gave her a Nikon Coolpix digital camera and a digital frame that can store 1,000 pictures.  On Tuesday afternoon, she was out gamely trying to take her 1,000 photographs at Elizabeth Park.

I made a couple of portraits of Glenna for her, on her own camera.

When I am 90, I want to get out and take pictures like Glenna.

What a wonderful gift! I think we all hope to be like Glenna when we reach that age.

Say cheese! Or whatever a 90 year old says. She looks pretty adventurous to me!

Okay. I think you can do that. You probably have a couple of years to go before hitting 90, right? Heh, heh!

I'll be there a lot sooner than you...and I'm going to take pictures of trucks in jewelry stores and send them to you! :-)

When I'm 90, I want to act like Glenna. May good health continue for her so that she can enjoy the world around her with her new camera.
