Windy!

Betsy (above) and Liz (below) are golfing friends who took a day off to visit an art museum together.  It was very windy when I met them outside the museum.  They were good sports and didn't mind being photographed in the wind.

Nightmare

 I live in a bubble.  Hurricane Ian flooded the roads in my community, but it didn't enter any houses and has long since receded.  The community looks the same as usual.  

But, north and south of me the damage was huge.

Yesterday I decided to drive along Hickory Boulevard in Bonita Springs up to Fort Myers Beach to see how things look in the places that were hit hard.  I made it only as far as one mile up Hickory Boulevard.  Six weeks after the storm, sand and debris are still everywhere.  Brutal.  It goes on for tens of miles.

I don't need to see any more.

Sunrise

 We had a pretty sunrise a few days ago.

Circus Performers

 

I was at a cocktail party Saturday evening.  Some circus performers were hired to add some fun.

She walked on stilts and towered over everyone, even me.

Ring of Friends

 "Ring of Friends" is a 2005 sculpture by Gary Price at Naples Botanical Garden.  The circle includes an animal from each of the seven continents and represents the world coming together, clasping paws and fins in unity.

Action!

 A tricolored heron comes in for a landing
