Wood and Stone
A very neat stone wall. A wooden gate. A wooden barn. And a small stone building. All make an appealing scene with mixed textures on Umpawaug Road in Redding.
The stone wall gives this away as a New England farm. There are plenty of rocks in the fields. Some farmers say that rocks are the only sure crop every year.
