Otters

Three otters dove, grabbed fish, climbed out to chew them, then dove back into the water to grab more fish and do it again and again.

I might have taken 100 photographs.  But, the light was bad, the action was blurred, the fish didn't look like fish, etc.  Do you ever have days when you just can't get the camera settings right?

Oh yes, depending a little on which camera I use. My DSLR, the Canon 77D is a favorite, but not the best when it gets dark and it is sometimes difficult to get sharp photos with my cheap zoom lens. But if I get one good shot that is the one I will show the world.

These are fine for me, since they are one of my favorite animals. You caught them when they were hungry, rather than just playing around.

Otters are my favorite animals -- they're so cute! And yes, I have days when I can't nail my exposures either, and I've been a professional photographer for my entire adult life. Ha.
