Motor bikes

You know how prevalent bicycles are in Amsterdam?  Well, electric motor bikes are similarly popular in China.  I wish I had the motor bike franchise.

One thing I liked seeing was mom or dad driving a little one, though helmets seem optional for both.

I have been impressed about how patient and courteous motor bike riders are.  They wait patiently for lights to change.  Riders in the USA could learn from them.

Fascinating post. It's good to see things have changed. Your observation that the bike riders wait for lights to change is somewhat different from what I saw in China back in the 90's when the motor bikes and pedal bicycles were going in all directions with no attention paid to traffic signals. Quite an improvement now.

How interesting to see this motorbike trend. When I was there it was all bicycles. This shows an increase in prosperity, and an increasingly mobile population. These bikes must make being a pedestrian a bit hazardous.
