The Boston Symphony Orchestra spends the summer at Tanglewood in Stockbridge.
Before the concert approached, I spent some time on the lawn, people watching.
Then, it was time to take my seat in the shed, watching the musicians warm up. No electronics during the performance, of course. The scheduled highlight was a Schumann cello sonata with Yo Yo Ma as the soloist. Frankly, I liked Beethoven's seventh symphony better than the Schumann.

Oh Jack, I am so envious of you being able to hear world famous musicians playing wonderful music. Looks like everyone there was having a good time. I'm surprised the crowd wasn't larger.
I hope you had a great time.
What a lovely way to spend the day!
