A small park is adjacent to Naples Community Hospital's Downtown Campus. When a well was accidentally discovered in the 1980s during a construction project, a hospital trustee persuaded NCH not to fill it in, but instead keep it as a place of respite.
The Garden of Hope and Courage gives cancer patients, their families and other loved ones a quiet place to sit in a calm environment, rest and reflect.

A pretty spot.
Lovely, Jack.
OH. It's still going then...I know 40 years isn't a long time, but FLA's ground water has been in trouble, from what I've read. Being in TX, clear beautiful water flowing up from underground is a very precious thing to me. FLA has a lot, and I've seen some of it, but it's been 40 years since I was there. So, it's a cheerful photo to me.
