Milkweed and Monarchs
I planted six milkweed plants last week. The next day there were monarch caterpillars on two of them. Within days a monarch butterfly was buzzing them. It doesn't take them long to find their happy homes.
How odd we both featured Milkweed in our posts today, but mine is a much latter stage. This plant remains critical for Monarch butterflies so I hope the seeds spread far and wide.

Impressive "homing instincts".
Essential for them.
That is amazing, Jack.
