An 11 year old Ridgefield girl named Ruby learned that many people were food-deprived during the pandemic. She started a fundraising campaign that got a lot of local publicity.
Clark Construction heard about her generosity and built a half dozen pantries (modeled on the "Little Free Libraries") and installed them around town. This one is at Nature's Temptations, a natural food store.

Great idea. Well done, Ruby!
A worthy endeavour!
I've seen a few of them round here but not as well stocked as that one.
I like this idea!
What a great idea, to pattern food items after the Little Libraries. I know of one in a small town near us. Our local Food Pantry did not have an increase in demand last year surprisingly.
Nice. Here they are called blessing boxes.
