I have moved. The new house is in the southwest corner of Connecticut, in Ridgefield. It is in a wooded area backing up to a preserve.
Though the pandemic has interfered with my normal living patterns, I will still spend more of the year in Southwest Florida, from mid-October through mid-May, but now the summers will be here in Ridgefield, 10 - 15 minutes from my daughter, her husband and my two little granddaughters.
We can look forward to a lot of forest shots from here!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll be very happy in your new home. I like the little glimpse you've shared with us today.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place to enjoy walking and being close to family makes it even better.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a beautiful area. Wishing you every happiness there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to be so close to your daughter and grandchildren Jack, I'm so envious, mine still in Sydney, not even sure if they will be able to come for Christmas, our borders are still shut to the rest of Australia and the world. Lots of lovely walks in the woods ahead!
ReplyDeleteGlad you have found a beautiful place to live, Jack. My guess is that we can enjoy some photos from your new location.
ReplyDeleteA bit of a difference, but not so far from Elizabeth Park.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice area, Jack. Wishing you much happiness there. It will be nice to be close to family.
