Memorial Day

Yesterday was Memorial Day, but it rained so the parade was canceled.


The veterans' memorial in West Hartford Center received many visitors even without the parade.

Remembering all who died in service to our country.

    A day of both solemnity and joy here in Minnesota. The Memorial events marking the day were numerous, even including the traditional Mass at a Catholic cemetery plus many ceremonies marking the day. The sun was out after a soggy week of rain so everyone, and I mean everyone, enjoyed the long weekend. Your photo is highly symbolic.
